Myofascial Cupping in Seacliff Park

Myofascial Cupping Therapy

Myofascial cupping can be used as a stand-alone treatment or at Live Better Physiotherapy in Seacliff Park, is often used in conjunction with various other modalities, treatments and advice to help achieve results.

Myofascial Cupping involves the targeted positioning and gliding of negatively pressured cups over the body and is thought to 'lift and separate' the multiple layers and fibres of soft tissue. This in turn can help facilitate improved flow of stagnant chemicals out of an area that may have been injured or aggravated and increase nutrient-rich blood supply to the tissue; all while giving a gentle passive stretch to the underlying soft tissue.

It has profound benefits and can assist with the function of the lymphatic system as well as increase range of motion, reduce myofascial trigger points and reduce painful fascial adhesions commonly found from repetitive movement in sport, or static positions in the workplace.
